Thespians Anonymous is pleased to present: "Under a Microscope - Five perspectives on human life" Directors: Erna Bodström, Lotta Heikkinen, Saga Arola, Sami Itkonen, and Anastasia Diatlova |
|
Five short plays, five directors, one entity.
What is humanity all about? This production takes a look into five different aspects of the species most familiar to us, the humans, through the eyes of someone else. "Us and Them" (directed by Erna Bodström) takes us to see how good walls make good neighbours, or do they really? "Family 2.0" (directed by Lotta Heikkinen) explores the happy state of marriage - with the wrong husband. "In The Gallery" (directed by Saga Arola) follows a discussion of the Mona Lisa and Scream portraits. "Flirting with Death" (written & directed by Sami Itkonen) shows what can happen when a family gets a visit from the Grim Reaper. Finally, "They're Made out of Meat" (directed by Anastasia Diatlova) sums up the shocking results that studying the human species has produced. Performances are in English. |
